Lycophontes Bruch, 1910 . Type species Lycophontes joergenseni Bruch, 1910, by monotypy. Synonymy by Arrow (1937b). Note: Ratcliffe (2003) incorrectly spelt Lycophontes as “ Lyphontes ”.

Megasominus Casey, 1915 . Type species Megasoma thersites LeConte, 1861, by original designation. Synonymy by Arrow (1937a).
