There is only one species of the subtribe Lathrobiina described from Madagascar — Lathrobium catenulatum Fauvel, 1905 . After examining the type specimens and concluding the lack of Lathrobiina characteristics, like widened area on the protibia, it is transferred here to Pseudolathra as P. catenulata (Fauvel 1905), comb. nov. Its assignment to genus Pseudolathra is supported by the following characters: body glossy, maxillary palpomere 4 small and conical, and punctures on elytra in distinctive rows.
