Haplogona oculodistincta (Verhoeff, 1893) .

This is a Mediterranean mountain species with a relatively narrow area of distribution. It is a rare species occurring in northern Italy, Austria, Croatia and Slovenia. It is considered to be a stenotopic species. It is the first representative of the family Verhoeffidae recorded in the Czech Republic and was first collected in 1999 from Northern Moravia, Beskydy Mts, Horní Lomná village, 730 m. I assume that it reached this territory due to human influences.
