Genus Parvamussium Sacco, 1897

Type species. Pecten duodecimlamellatus Bronn, 1831

Remarks. Only a single species of this genus, P. m ao r i u m Dell, 1956, has been reported from modern New Zealand waters as far north as off the coast of Otago in the South Island .
