Foliage dark-geen, the leaflets regardless of their shape, always all retuse or truncate and the ovary glabrate.

Distribution:— In Mexico, recorded in northeastern Coahuila (municipallity Sabinas) and northern Nuevo León (municipallity Villaldama). Also, in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas into the USA (Fig. 19).

Habitat:— Rocky slopes; scrublands; acacia scrubland; oak forest; 1170 m.
