Type host and type locality: not informed.
Comments: the specific identification was unviable due to the lack of males in the samples. The combination of morphological features of males and females are necessary for accurate identification. Although several records of Ochoterenella spp. in bufonids, leptodactylids, and hylids (Campi„o et al. 2014) Boana raniceps constitutes a new host for an Ochoterenella species.
