Distribution: E New Guinea and adjacent small islands, sea level to 2000 m; Bismarck Arch. (Papua New Guinea).
Conservation: IUCN – Vulnerable.
Discussion: Formerly considered a subspecies of T. brunii, but see Flannery (1992).
