Type locality. Turkey: Çankırı, Uzundere Mts., Kabak-Coroğlu. Holotype male (AİBÜEM).
Material examined. Turkey: Çankırı Prov., 2 km W. of Çerkeş, 1150 m, 6.8.1986, 3 males (leg. J. M. Tilmans & fam. Smid) (det. J. M. Tilmans) (CT) ; Çankırı, 15 km E. of Kurşunlu, 1020 m, 17.7.2012, 3 males (leg. M. Ünal) (AİBÜEM).
Distribution. (Fig. 195). Turkey: N. W. Anatolia. Çankırı: Çerkeş (Heller 1988); Çankırı: Çerkeş, Uzundere Mts., Kabak-Coroğlu, Kurşunlu (Ünal 2011).
Measurements (mm). Length of body: male 47.2–50.6, female 47; pronotum: male 18.6, female 14.2; hind femur: male 18.1–20, female 19; ovipositor: 12 (Ünal 2011).
Remarks. Klaus-Gerhard Heller confirmed his record of B. dilatatus from Çerkeş (Heller 1988) that belongs to this species (pers. commun.).
This species has not been assessed for the IUCN Red List (2016–3). It is distributed in a very restricted area which is under threat. It should be at least in “Vulnerable” status in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
