Remarks. This species was described after 1 male and 1 female without type designation (Stål 1875). The male was subsequently labelled as “typus” and the female as “allotypus” in the NHRS. Because of the improbability of holotype I gave the only male in the NHRS as lectotype which is the first indication of the type designation (Ünal 2011: 14) for this species. Therefore, I confirm here again the male labelled as “typus” in the NHRS is the lectotype and the female labelled as “allotypus” in the NHRS is paralectotype of this species.
For some hybrid forms see the remarks section of the next species.
This species has not been assessed for the IUCN Red List (2016–3). It has enough populations and distribution. It should be in “Least Concern” status in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
