Flavalona costata (Sars, 1862) (= Alona costata Sars, 1862).

A common littoral phytophilous species inhabiting waterbodies of any type, is abundant in both spring and autumn. A single male was found in a pond (A32) in autumn. Palearctic species, in East Asia penetrating south to Hainan Island and North-East Thailand (Sinev 2016). Common in China (Ji et al. 2015). For more information see Sinev & Dumont (2016).
