Prendalona guttata (Sars, 1862) (= Alona guttata Sars, 1862).

Rare in studied material,occurred in two lakes (A19, A41) and in a reservoir (S33). Littoral species associated with vegetation. Species that is presumed cosmopolitan; recent studies of Mexican populations did not reveal no significant differences with European specimens (Sinev & Silva-Briano 2012).
