Pleuroxus (Picripleuroxus) quasidenticulatus (Smirnov, 1996) .

A common littoral, macrophyte-associated species abundant in waterbodies of any type in both spring and winter. Few males were found in a rice field (S31). Distributed in Central, Eastern and Southeast Asia and Australia. In China, the species was recorded predominantly as P. assimilis Brady, 1907 (Sinev & Sanoamuang 2013; Ji et al. 2015).
