Disparalona (Disparalona) ikarus Kotov & Sinev, 2011 .
A common littoral species, encountered in both open littoral and vegetated areas, occurs in both spring and autumn in various water bodies. Species so far is known from Amur River basin in Russia, South Korea, Hainan Island and North-East Thailand (Kotov & Sinev 2011; Kotov et al. 2012; Sinev et al. 2015; Tiang-nga et al. 2020). In continental China, the species was recorded only once, in Yunnan Province (Sinev et al. 2020). Earlier Disparalona s. str. records from China were attributed to D. (D). rostrata (Koch, 1841) (Ji et al. 2015), but actually all populations from China probably belong to D. (D). ikarus . For description, see Kotov & Sinev (2011) and Kotov et al. (2012).
