Vernacular Names: Malayan Leaf-nosed Bat.

Distribution: Known only from the type locality.

Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Critically Endangered.

Discussion: bicolor species group. Known only from the holotype; see Hill (1963 b).
