Paratypes: UPNG 2068-73, 2075-79, Baiyer River, 1200m, West Highland Province, PNG (J. Menzies, 18.v.1969) .

Remarks: Type series consists of 16 specimens; holotype and other paratypes in AMNH. Paratype 2068 not found, and noted in register and card file as missing. Description gave the date for this series as 19.ix.1970 and the locality as beside the Traura River, 5 o 29'S 141 o 11'E, Baiyer River Wildlife Sanctuary, and the electronic database similarly gives the date as v.1970. Located types in good condition.
