Holotype: UPNG 8124, Kowat village, 900m, Adelbert Range, Madang Province, PNG (J. Menzies, 1988).

Paratypes: UPNG 8123, 8125, data as for holotype.

Remarks: Entire type series of three specimens in UPNG. Description gave the locality as near Kowat, the coordinates as 4 o 50'S 145 o 21'E, and the date as 10.xi.1988. Specimens in good condition.
