Holotype: UPNG 1015, Efogi, Central Province, PNG (J. Menzies, 12.xii.1968).

Paratypes: UPNG 1018-19, data as for holotype.

Remarks: Now Litoria prora . Type series consists of five specimens; other paratypes in SAMA (formerly UPNG 1016- 17). Description gave the collection data as about half a mile from Efogi village, 3800ft, 9 o 09'S 147 o 38'E, 37mi NE Port Moresby. UPNG types in fair condition, though a little faded and softened.
