Holotype: UPNG 7238, Mambimap, 1500m, Adelbert Range, Madang Province, PNG (J.I. Menzies, H. Fortune Hopkins, i.1987).

Paratypes: UPNG 7236-37, data as for holotype.

Remarks: Entire type series of three specimens in UPNG. Description gave the date as ii.1987. All specimens in good condition.
