Subclade / Acutipallidum
The /Acutipallidum subclade houses the species Entoloma acutipallidum E. Horak & Cheype (2010:289) (Brazil), E. borbonicum Nordel. & Hauskn. (2007:114) (La Reunion), E. capes sp. nov. (Brazil), E. caxiuanense (Brazil) sp. nov., E. dennisi E. Horak (1976:183) (Brazil)., E. luteolamellatum (Largent & Aime) Blanco-Dios (2015:35) (Brazil and Guyana), and Entoloma petchii E. Horak (1980) (China).
The species of this subclade are characterized by either a collybioid or tricholomatoid basidiome, with the surface of the pileus strongly adpressed-fibrillose or squamulose-fibrillose, with fibrils and scales more pigmented than the surface below them and by basidiospores with scarcely elongated angles and a pileus surface formed by a cutis in transition to a trichoderm.
