Type Series: Holotype ♂, Paratype ♀.

Current status: Turanogryllus wahrmani (CHOPARD 1963) .

Remarks: Chopard (1963) described this species as Paragryllopsis wahrmani but the label on the specimen states the genus name as Gryllopsis . The OR number of the holotype does not match that in the original description but details of the location, date and collector do match. An allotype is not mentioned in the original description.
