The tegulifera -group
Diagnostic characters. 2nd palpomere with long loose scale tuft on ventral surface (Fig. 4) except E. scriniata with a tight triangular scale tuft ventro-distally. Forewing ground color white, with distinct patterns; distal part of costal margin with four to six short dark streaks alternated with white; narrow terminal band extending along posterior end of costal streaks to apex, then running along termen to tornus, forming a broad V-shaped pattern open toward base; discocellular spot exceeding end of cell for half of its length except not exceeding end of cell in E. aciprojecta sp. nov.; subterminal spot beyond end of cell near costal margin; R5 absent, R4 and M1 stalked (Fig. 6). Tegumen convex at middle or straight on anterior margin in male genitalia. Eighth tergite straight or slightly convex at middle on posterior margin; ductus bursae straight or slightly coiled; ductus seminalis arising from posterior end of corpus bursae in female genitalia.
