Diagnosis. The wing pattern of O. pavaca is distinctive among allied species (from O. ancora to O. liensis) by less falcate shape of forewing apex, and less protruding outer margin in male; the wings, especially the forewing of female, are decorated with dense silvery scales basally and distally. In the male genitalia, O. pavaca is distinctive among allied species by the presence of a cornutus in the aedeagus, bilobed uncus, and two developed pointed processes on the sacculus. The female genitalia have a signum in the corpus bursae.

Distribution. China, India, Nepal.
