Flohria Sharp 1884

Flohria Sharp 1884: 391 . Type species: Flohria laticornis Sharp, 1884 (= Flohria subcoerulea (LeConte, 1863)), by monotypy.

Notes: Flohria is a New World monotypic genus recently revised by Chani-Posse & Newton (2015). It was assigned to Philonthina by Newton et al. (2000) and Navarrete-Heredia et al. (2002), and its position confirmed by Chani-Posse (2013).

Notes: to Gastrisus (Scheerpeltz 1972: 37); comb. nov. ex Gastrisus (Newton et al. 2000, Navarrete-Heredia et al. 2002: 338); distribution, also within Mexico (Navarrete-Heredia et al. 2002); lectotype designation, redescription, distribution (Chani-Posse & Newton 2015: 377).
