Host: Acropora cf. valida (Dana) ( Scleractinia).

Regional records: Jibuti (Nobili, 1906), Yemen (Bruce, 1971).

General distribution: Type locality: Oshima, Japan. Extensively distributed from the Egyptian Red Sea to the Tuamotu Islands.
