IRAQ: Najaf Province: 1♀ (MMBC), Ash Shabakah camp, 150 km SW of Najaf, [30°48'N, 43°39'E], 260 m, stone desert (O. Jakeš) .

Distribution.

West Palaearctic.

Comment.

This is the first record of the genus Haplodrassus in Iraq.
