Acentropinae

Until recently Acentropinae was known as Nymphulinae (ICZN 2003). It is represented worldwide by more than 700 species (Heppner 1991) and in the Neotropical region by nearly 250 species (Munroe 1995). In the Galapagos Islands only one species of this subfamily has been detected.
