The Strongylophthalmyia ustulata group
Diagnosis. Recognized within the genus by the following characters: antennal arista pubescent; male distiphallus two-segmented; female with single sclerotized spermatheca.
Diversity and distribution. This group currently contains ten species, six are reported from north temperate area, two from Myanmar, and two from southern China (Evenhuis 2016). Three new species from China are described herein, and S. yaoshana is excluded from this group in this study.
