Type locality.

"Im Landsee Issyk-Kul am Nordabhang des Thienschan, 4691' Pariser Fuss über der Meere, 43° N.B" = Kyrgyzstan, nothern shore of the Issyk-Kul’ Lake.

Remarks.

The type series has been overlooked by Kilias (1961, 1967). Hubendick (1951) considered Lymnaea obliquata as a junior synonym of Radix auricularia, whereas the Russian authors (Kruglov and Starobogatov 1993; Kantor et al. 2010) accept its validity.
