Steirodon (Frontinus) emsleyi (Piza, 1979) n. comb.

(Figs. 20–22)

Originally placed in subgenus Posidippus ( Steirodon (Posidippum) emsleyi). But when reviewing photos of this species (Eades et al., 2016) and recently published data on the Tettigoniidae types of Piracicaba collection (Chamorro & Braun, 2010), where the type series its deposited, it is concluded that this species belongs to the subgenus Frontinus, lacking thorns on the side edges of the pronotal disc.
