Pterochilus aberrans Morawitz, 1885: 145, ♀ (type locality: “Transcaucasia. Adshikent” [Azerbaijan]).

Material examined. AZERBAIJAN. Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic: Kangarli, Chalkhangala, 39°26′N, 45°17′N, 1370 m, 25. VI.2020, 2 ♀, leg. M. Maharramov [CAFK, FSCV] .

Distribution. Greece, Armenia, Azerbaijan (main territory, Nakhchivan AR), Turkey, Syria, Lebanon.

Remarks. The species was previously reported from the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic but not confirmed by specimen-based records (Fateryga et al. 2021); the identification of the material reported by Aliyev et al. (2019) needs confirmation.
