Distribution. * Azerbaijan (Nakhchivan AR), Turkey, Iran.

Remarks. This species is poorly-known and therefore illustrated here (Fig. 3). The taxonomic status of the subspecies Leptochilus neutralis rufior Giordani Soika, 1952, described from Israel and Palestine and also reported from Syria (Giordani Soika 1952, 1970), should be revised to ascertain whether it is a synonym of L. neutralis neutralis, or a distinct species.
