Brachymeria megaspila (Cameron, 1907)

Diagnosis. Head with scrobe reaching anterior ocellus (Fig. 32); pre-orbital carina absent; post-orbital carina present, reaching geno-temporal margin (Fig. 31, arrow); area below scrobe with a small median smooth and raised portion (Fig. 32); mesosoma with umbilicate, close pits, the interstices rugose, tending to become smooth at scutellum (Fig. 34); scutellum apically with emarginate flange and with dense pubescence (Fig. 34); metacoxa without basoventral tooth; metafemur yellow with medial black region, ventrally with 12 or 13 differently sized teeth (Fig. 33), without an inner basal tooth or protuberance; metasoma shorter than mesosoma (Fig 31); Gt 1 smooth (Fig. 34); ovipositor sheath slightly visible in dorsal view (Fig. 34).
