Family Parasitidae Oudemans

Two species Parasitus consanguineous and P. fimetorum of this family reported in this study, are new to the fauna of SA. Previously, three species viz. Poecilochirus necrophori, Pergamasus longicornis, and Gamasodes buettikeri were reported from SA (Table 1).
