Type species: Ornebius flori Ingrisch, 1998: 226 ( East Malaysia: Sabah) .

Diagnosis. Comparing with other species groups of Ornebius, the species group is distinguished by the tongueshaped epiphallus which covers most of central lobe; central lobe of phallus with lateral valves dorsoventrally compressed with acute apex, ejaculatory duct with apex truncate and a little notched (Fig. 17).

In addition to the type species, the species group includes Ornebius marginatus, Ornebius fastus, Ornebius pullus and Ornebius xinyao .
