Checklist of Scydmaenus species recorded from the People’s Republic of China, Hong Kong and Taiwan

The Eastern Asian and Palaearctic checklists in O’Keefe & Li (1998) and Vít (2004) are incomplete; the former omitted some species, the latter does not give all countries from which some species were recorded. An updated and annotated checklist is given below.
