Diagnosis. Body fusiform, up to 60 mm long, tapering toward bluntly rounded ends. Color whitish to light brown, with darker patches. Feet numerous, scattered over entire body; strongly contracted in preserved specimens. Tentacles 10, ventral pair smaller. Body wall tables (70–110 μm) with 4 perforations and spire terminating in single blunt spine.
Distribution. NC to FL, Eastern Gulf of Mexico.
Habitat. Quartz sand and crushed shell. 6– 45 m.
Remarks. Nothing is known of the biology of this species.
