Distribution. Brazil: Goiás (Floriano et al. 2017), Mato Grosso (Dias-Silva et al. 2013), Pará (Moreira & Campos 2012, Cunha et al. 2015). Colombia: Cundinamarca (this work), Quindío, Valle del Cauca (Morales & Molano 2008), Santander (this work). Suriname: Brokopondo (Nieser 1970). Trinidad & Tobago (Torre-Bueno 1926), Siparia (Alkins-Koo 1990). Venezuela: Amazonas (Floriano et al. 2017).

Notes. Specimens from Quindío and Valle del Cauca departments were mistakenly identified as H. sztolcmani Jaczewski, 1928 by Morales & Molano (2008). We present the first records of this species from the Colombian departments of Cundinamarca and Santander (Fig. 8).
