Subgenus Golfingia (Golfingia) Lankester

Remarks. Cutler & Cutler (1987) erected the subgenus Golfingia (Spinata) on the basis of a single species, Golfingia pectinatoida Cutler & Cutler, which possesses bilobed nephridia, retractors originated close to ventral nerve cord and hooks with basal spinelets. Members of the subgenus Golfingia (Golfingia) have unilobed nephridia, dorsolaterally displaced anterior retractors and no basal spinelets; it is the only Golfingia subgenus known from Taiwan thus far. Two species, Golfingia (G.) margaritacea margaritacea (Sars) and Golfingia (G.) muricaudata (Southern) are recorded for the first time from Taiwan.
