Note: Jafri & Qaiser (in Nasir & Ali, Fl. W. Pakistan 61: 10. 1974) indicated 669.1 (LINN) as the type but this collection lacks the relevant Species Plantarum number (i.e. “1”) and was a post-1753 addition to the herbarium, and is not original material for the name.
