Generitype of Poinciana Linnaeus.

Current name: Caesalpinia pulcherrima (L.) Sw. ( Fabaceae: Caesalpinioideae).

Note: Fawcett & Rendle (Fl. Jamaica 4: 95. 1920) indicated material in LINN as type but did not distinguish between sheets 529.1 and 529.2. As these were not part of a single gathering, Art. 9.15 does not apply.
