Current name: Polystichum triangulum (L.) Fée ( Dryopteridaceae).

Note: Morton treated the cited Petiver illustration as the type though noting that it had been redrawn from a Plumier plate, via which Morton interpreted it. However, the Plumier plate was not cited in the protologue of this name.
