Note: There appear to be no extant original elements and the name needs a neotype. Nguyên Van Thuân (in Aubréville & Leroy, Fl. Cambodge Laos Viêt-Nam 17: 143. 1979) indicates what appears to be a Plukenet plate ("tab. 290") as type. However, “290” is the page number in Plukenet’s Almag. Bot. (1696), where there is only a description, and no plate.
