Type material. Holotype: ♂ (MHBU-ARA-00025255), CHINA: Yunnan Province, Lincang City, Shuangjiang County, Mengmeng Town, 23.4246°N, 99.8648°E, 1969 m elev., 15 June 2022, leg. L. Zhang.

Paratypes: 2♂ 3♀ (MHBU-ARA-00025256), same data as holotype .

Etymology. The specific name of the new species is taken from the body color of the species ( fulva in Latin, meaning tawny yellow). Adjective.

Diagnosis. See diagnosis of the genus Eremitarys gen. nov. .

Description. Male. Habitus shown in Figs 15, 18. Carapace length 1.530; abdomen length 1.541. Measurements of eyes: AME 0.270, ALE 0.184, PME 0.059, PLE 0.162. Measurements of legs: I 1.826 (0.569, 0.287, 0.390, 0.292, 0.288), II 1.588 (0.502, 0.219, 0.357, 0.263, 0.247), III 1.934 (0.644, 0.229, 0.415, 0.364, 0.282), IV 2.321 (0.745, 0.235, 0.491, 0.504, 0.346); leg formula: 4312. Color in ethanol: carapace dark, dorsally with scattered tawnyyellow setae. Abdomen dark, with white bands and patches. Legs dark. Chelicera (Fig. 17) with two promarginal and one retromarginal teeth. Palp (Figs 20–22, 25–27): long white setae scattered throughout palp, without forming any major tuft; embolic disc exposed; embolus tubular, tip without any apophysis; tegulum with a strong LTS; CyF obvious; RTA straight, finger-like.

Female. Habitus shown in Figs 16, 19. Carapace length 1.555; abdomen length 1.752. Measurements of eyes: AME 0.278, ALE 0.189, PME 0.061, PLE 0.179. Measurements of legs: I 1.850 (0.576, 0.291, 0.397, 0.299, 0.287), II 1.606 (0.510, 0.225, 0.362, 0.260, 0.249), III 1.949 (0.653, 0.237, 0.416, 0.370, 0.273), IV 2.382 (0.755, 0.238, 0.499, 0.501, 0.389); leg formula: 4312. Color in ethanol: similar to that of male, but all legs light-yellow. Chelicerae as in male. Epigyne (Figs 23–24, 28–29): epigynal window obvious; copulatory ducts of both sides asymmetric; spermathecae kidney-shaped; copulatory openings located on the anterior part of epigynal window.
