Type host: Bombycilla garrulus (Linnaeus) ( Passeriformes: Bombycillidae). Type locality: Slovakia.

Additional material. Five females and 4 males (UMMZ BMOC 82-0422-5) from Bombycilla cedrorum Vieillot ( Passeriformes: Bombycillidae), USA: New York, Tompkins Co., 3 mi. S. E. Lansing, 26 July 1979, coll. B. M. OConnor, all material in UMMZ except 2 females and 1 male in AMU; 7 females and 1 male (FMNH uncatalogued) from same host species, USA: Georgia, Chatham Co., 3 March 1968, coll. R. Heard, all material in FMNH.

Host and distribution. Bombycilla garrulus (Linnaeus) (Bombycillidae) from Slovakia (Skoracki 2002b) and Poland (Skoracki 2004a) and B. cedrorum Vieillot [new host] from USA (Georgia, New York) (present paper).
