Material examined. Holotype (DCBU, 31290); female, Brazil, SP, Gália, Estação Ecológica Caetetus, 12.VII.2010, semidecidous mesophilic forest, vegetation sweep; A.S. Soares col . Paratype: 1 female, same data as holotype .

Comments. This species is similar to H. holleyae Marsh, 2013, distinguished by the scrobiculate notauli, prescutellar furrow with five cross carinae, by its size which is relatively bigger than other species, and a sinuose anterior transverse groove on tergum II.

Etymology. The name of this species refers to the location in São Paulo state where it was collected.
