Pontocaris affinis affinis (Alcock, 1901)

Material. 1 ovigerous female (ZUTC 6858), Bandar Abbas, Persian Gulf.

General distribution. Indian Ocean

Remarks. The single specimen was at the collection of ZUTC with only given sampling site, and no other information. As the ovigerous female shows simple fifth pereiopods, the subspecies of P. affinis affinis is allocated to it based on the species key provided by Chace (1984).
