Paraleuctra sara (Claassen) .

This Appalachian species is widely distributed in coolwater streams from Nova Scotia south to Alabama and westward to Indiana and Kentucky (DeWalt et al. 2010), but it has not been recorded from Illinois. Frison (1942) first recorded it in Indiana from Newby Gulch of Turkey Run State Park, Parke County, and later Grubbs (2004) presented a new record from Crawford County.
