Distribution and habitat. Widespread in Europe, North America and Brazil (?) (Schmelz 2003); Russia (Degtyarev et al. 2020; 2023). Mineral soil, wide range of habitats, not below pH 4.5 (Schmelz 2003).

Distribution in China. Hubei and Jilin Province (Chen 2009; Lian et al. 2011; Shen 2012).
