Distribution. BRAZIL (Bahia, Goiás, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, S„o Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul), PARAGUAY, ARGENTINA (Misiones, Córdoba), and URUGUAY. Here we recorded if for the RPPN Sanctuary of Caraça.
Material examined. BRAZIL, Minas Gerais, Catas Altas, RPPN Sanctuary of Caraça, Trilha Banho do Belchior, 20°6’51.96”S 43°29’34.44”W, 1271 m, male, Malaise, 18–23.xi.2022, Monné, M.L. leg. (MNRJ-ENT7-47241) .
Diagnosis. This species is recognized by the following combination of characters: antennal tubercle not projected; sides of prothorax with acute postmedian tubercle; elytra covered by spots of orangish pubescence, base with shiny black granules.
