Diagnosis.
As in Villalobos and Alvarez (2003).
Distribution.
Only known from the type locality and surroundings (Fig. 1).
Remarks.
As noted by Villalobos and Alvarez (2003) Tehuana chontalpaensis is morphologically similar to T. lamothei, a similarity that is consistent with their being sister species as shown in the molecular phylogeny (Fig. 3).
